I was sat at the bar counter and served by Kan. He did an amazing job engaging with customers at the bar despite being busy on Christmas night. Made recommendations and helped me eat the authentic way The food was really good and fresh. I got the Tod Min goons which is deep fried shrimp pancakes with sweet and sour sauce and they were so good but the star of the night was the spicy crab curry with salad and rice noodles. The drinks were delicious too. I got the lychee cocktail for appetizer which was light and refreshing and the pandas drink for dinner which was creamy and good. Overall such a good experience. I would definitely come back and recommend this place highly.

Just a block away from Time Square! Love how convenient it is located. So glad we made the reservation in advance. Nice atmosphere and the hosts were welcoming. Our table was ready when we got there. (They would only bring you to the table if everyone in your party had arrived). When we sat down, we were told that we have 1.5 hour dining time, a little pressure to decide what to order from the extensive menu, especially when there are no pictures next to the dishes names! Our server was helpful when recommending the dishes and he asked us multiple times if anyone has food allergies. We appreciated that! With the dining time limit, we decided to order a few simple traditional dishes like Pad Thai and Pineapple fried rice. The mango salad was quite tasty though the avocado on the top had brown patches. The sautéed prawns and squid was delicious, definitely everyone’s favorite. Would love to try their curry beef next time!

We chose Mitr Thai to kick start our foodie trip in NYC, and it totally worths it. We had a reservation so there was no wait. The menu is HUGE! We chose 2x cocktails and 3x dishes, all came out deliciously delicious. The waiters & waitresses were very helpful when they helped us walk through the menu, as well as recommended us what the best dishes were for that day. We chose Somtum salad, Pad Thai and Short Rib curry for the foods; Tamarind & Pandan for the cocktails. The somtum is great, it's sour and the fish sauce is delightful. The pad thai has the distinct wok flavor that we love, and the pork is not seasoned, so it goes pretty well with pad thai. The short rib is melting in my mouth and the curry sauce is so addicting with rice. I'm so glad that our experience there was good!

The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. The ambiance was also very pleasant, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone craving genuine Thai food. Highly recommended!

I was skeptical when I saw the 4.9-star rating, but I quickly realized I was wrong the moment I stepped inside. The decoration is beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly polite and fast. The food was amazing — truly a work of art. We ordered beef, fish, and duck, and all three dishes were absolutely outstanding. Every bite was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Our waiter, Brook, was fantastic — very attentive, polite, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The service really elevated the whole experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. I would definitely drive all the way from Westchester again just to eat here. Hands down one of the best Thai food experiences I’ve had!

The service here is absolutely worth the tip—excellent all around. We asked for chopsticks and they were provided immediately, and the server consistently cleared the table throughout our meal. Of course, the food itself was also very good. My favorite dessert was the black sticky rice ice cream, which I highly recommend trying. One last note: I think the Level 2 spiciness is already quite hot, but the servers will warn you about that as well.

We tried Mitr Thai for the first time and we were incredibly delighted! The initial entrance was a bit rocky, because the vestibule was crowded and i felt overwhelmed. This was short-lived, however since Dia seated everyone promptly. The general mood of the place was warm. The server, Pooky, was very knowledgeable and professional. Our food was served hot and it was delicious, I mean every bite was full of flavor. The appetizers were small, but the entrees made up. The music playlist was like a serenade, we enjoyed every selection, it was right up our alley. We plan to go back.

Pleasantly surprised by all the Thai dishes that were new to me. Opened my eyes to more parts of Thai cuisine. The tom kha gai hot pot had the sweet and creamy consistency of coconut but also a mild kick of tanginess that seemed to be a nice complement. The ped pa loh (braised deboned duck) was criminally delicious! Of course I had no clue how authentic these dishes were, but I guess it’s less important to me because they were delicious. This was Christmas Day, with many restaurants not open, that might explain the huge crowd here for lunch. The space was warm and welcoming, and staff was very friendly and effective and efficient despite all the chaos, which was kind of impressive. 5 ⭐ across the board for me.
